Dr Vincent Tan received award for 10th Singapore National Research Foundation (NRF) Fellowship (Class of 2018)
IORA faculty member Dr Vincent Tan was awarded the 10th Singapore National Research Foundation (NRF) Fellowship (Class of 2018). He is also currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and the Department of Mathematics at the National University of Singapore (NUS). The NRF Fellowship provides opportunities for early career researchers from all over the world to lead impactful research in Singapore.
Dr Vincent Tan research interests include network information theory, machine learning, and statistical signal processing.He has authored a research monograph on Asymptotic Estimates in Information Theory with Non-Vanishing Error Probabilities in the Foundations and Trends in Communications and Information Theory Series (NOW Publishers). He is currently an Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Communications and the IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking.
