🎉 Congratulations to our student Xiao Yangge, who has been a runner-up for the DAS Student Paper Award, an accolade granted by the Decision Analytics Society under INFORMS to the best decision analysis paper by a student author.

 

Yangge qualified for the award this year for her paper “Information Design of a Delegated Search”. The paper describes a complete analytical characterization of a principal’s optimal policy, which is fully prescribed by a sequence of deterministic acceptance standards.
