The Institute of Operations Research and Analytics (IORA) is proud to host the IORA Industry Day 2026. Following the successful turnout of our previous editions, this year’s half-day event will once again showcase how Operations Research (OR) and Data Analytics can help organisations address real-world challenges and create meaningful impact.

This year’s program will feature industry projects highlighting IORA’s collaborations across a range of sectors. Through these projects, participants will gain insights into how OR and analytics can be applied to practical business challenges, from improving operational efficiency and resource allocation to supporting complex decision-making.

A key highlight of this year’s program is IORA’s collaboration with FairPrice Group, showcasing how IORA works with industry to address operational pain points and develop solutions that meet both current and future needs. The project marks the beginning of a longer-term journey and reflects IORA’s broader commitment to delivering tangible value to industry.

Additionally, the event will feature an engaging panel discussion with industry and academic leaders: Zeng Qiao Jia (Chief Supply Chain and Central Operations Officer, FairPrice Group), Marc Dragon (Managing Director, Reefknot Investments), and Prof Jussi Keppo (Research Director, IORA). They will discuss what makes industry–university collaborations successful and how such partnerships can deliver lasting beneficial outcomes for both sides. The session will be moderated by Prof Joel Goh, Director of PhD Program at IORA.
